Last Wednesday, we decided to take a day trip to Chicago to eat some good food, enjoy the nice weather and just get out!
Dustin had been wanting to go to Hot Doug's ever since he had seen it on the Cooking Channel. The first time we attempted to go was in February, but they were unfortunately closed for three weeks. This time we checked and they were open!

We got there right when they were opening and a line was already forming outside of the door. Dustin was so excited that we would finally eat here...but, unfortunately, it was not our time. After waiting about 15 minutes in line, we got closer and closer when I saw a sign that said they only accept cash. With a frantic look in my wallet, I saw that I only had $12 and not enough to satisfy our appetite. So, Dustin, with his head hung low, walked out of Hot Doug's with the look of defeat.
So, we headed to Franks & Dawgs (where we know they take credit) and ate some deliciousness there. Pictured below is Dustin's Kimchi Dog.
So, even though we didn't get to eat Hot Doug's, Dustin will not say "goodbye," but "until next time."
